Body recovered from Mount Rainier National Park KOMO News Staff © Provided by KOMO-TV Seattle MOUNT RAINIER NATIONAL PARK, Wash. – The body of a 65-year-old Eatonville woman was recovered from Mount Rainier National Park Sunday after an accidental fall, the National Parks Service said in a press release.  Park rangers say Constance Markham fell from a steep slope near Ricksecker Point in the southwest corner of the park Saturday afternoon. Searchers were able to locate her on Saturday and confirmed that she was deceased. A ground team return to the area Sunday and recovered her body using a helicopter. Twenty-two National Park Service employees with assistance from 13 Mountain Rescue Association personnel and one person from Pierce County Fire District 23 worked to recover the body from the steep, hazardous terrain.
