with rob marciano. he s live in piedmont park again. hey, rob. reporter: good morning, a beautiful shot of downtown atlanta. behind me the midtown skyline here at piedmont park, overlooking essentially the central park of atlanta. pretty busy today. with folks trying to get out and exercise before the sun comes up and rises. check out the record highs yesterday. boy, it seems like a broken record with the records, hot springs, arkansas. 108. 107 in pine bluff. this is some of the worst heat that arkansas has seen in well over a decade. maybe even longer than that. it was 104 degrees in memphis, tennessee, and louisville getting in of the act at 102. heat indexes today, very high. in some case, in the one-teens. look at the heat advisories. they stretch all the way into the new york metropolitan area. at least for today, your cooldown will come down a little bit over the weekend. here s what it feels like right
