When Enzo’s La Piccola Cucina in Lawrence first opened 37 years ago, it only served takeout.
Today, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the popular traditional Italian restaurant is back to primarily relying on takeout to get by, at least through the winter months.
“Everything dropped way down since Thanksgiving,” said owner Anna Scozzari, except for takeout, although she said that recently vaccinations against the virus have helped boost her clientele.
