Phyllis Furlong, the wife of Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong, died Sept. 13, 2021. She was 64. There will be a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Walton’s Chapel, Carson City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nevada Humane Society.

Pamela Lou Ledlow, 60, of Brownwood

Pamela Lou Ledlow, 60, of Brownwood passed away with her family by her side, Tuesday, December 29, 2020.  Services are pending at this time. Pamela was born October 11, 1960 in Brownwood to Paul and Sue Ledlow.  She attended Peaster High school and settled back in Brownwood after moving around with her family for a bit.  Pamela was a caregiver by nature.  At home, she cared for her plants.  Pamela worked for Rescare caring for patients and she loved her job and believed in making a difference in the lives of her clients for over 15 years.  When Pamela was off work and had free time, she cared for her family.  Pamela loved spending time with her family, her daughter and especially her grandkids.  She was very proud of her grandkids and was always cheering them on.  Her heart and her caring nature that she instilled in her family caring for others is the legacy she leaves with them.
