We haven’t even seen the first movie of the planned
Walking Dead trilogy starring Andrew Lincoln that AMC has got up its sleeve, but new intel may reveal how the story of Rick Grimes will ultimately wrap up. Lincoln said goodbye to the mainline TV series back in November 2018, and we were promised that he’d return in a film soon after. Due to various factors, though, the first outing has still yet to enter production. But the story of the trilogy is likely already mapped out.
With that in mind, insider Daniel Richtman has now revealed what he’s heard the ending will be and according to him, Rick Grimes will die in the third film. He doesn’t say how, and plans can always change, but as of this moment, this seems to be what AMC has in mind for the character.

Like almost all TV shows,
The Walking Dead has been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which shut down post-production on season 10 just as it was nearing completion. According to EP Angela Kang, the conclusion of the Whisperer war was finished in “dribs and drabs” as VFX houses slowly reopened and the knock-on effect is that season 11 – the final run of the core show – has been delayed until 2022, a wait which runs the risk of killing off any momentum that’s been built up.

The Walking Dead season 10 finale might have aired last year, but that doesn’t mean things are over. COVID-19 delays have meant that season 11 won’t be with us until 2022, but to fill the gap, AMC is bringing us season 10C, six new episodes that’ll begin airing next month exploring characters and events intended to round out the world of the show.
For me, the most exciting is “Here’s Negan.” This is loosely based on Robert Kirkman’s standalone comic volume of the same name that fills out the backstory of Negan and shows his first days of survival during the Walker plague. Filled with guilt for having an affair during her illness, he resolves to never be weak again and begins the journey into the intimidating figure we all know.

Produced last fall and made specifically to comply with COVID-19 regulations, these six anthology-style outings will feature the survivors continuing their journeys after defeating the Whisperers and take place ahead of the show’s eleventh and final season.
Unlike the previous trailer, which unveiled fresh footage, this promo features stills of the main characters, with quotes played over the top. There’s Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan), Ezekiel (Khary Payton), Judith Grimes (Cailey Fleming), Princess (Paula Lazaro), Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt), Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam), Aaron (Ross Marquand) and, last but not least, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). “Coming February 28,” the tagline reads. “Six n
