OLD LYME The Memorial Day parade will march on this year in town.
First Selectman Timothy Griswold said the state approved the parade as long as COVID safety measures such as masks and social distancing are followed.
Taking place on Memorial Day, the parade will commence at 11 a.m., starting at the Lyme Street Firehouse, and will end at the Duck River Cemetery. There will be no parking on the Lyme Street parade route and the public may park behind the schools or on Ferry Road.
