Check out this look-back at some historical photos of Euclid Beach amusement park

CLEVELAND, Ohio Cedar Point was not the only waterfront amusement park on the shores of Lake Erie in the 20th Century.
For more than seven decades, Clevelanders visited Euclid Beach Park on the city’s East Side. Popular rides included the Flying Turns, The Thriller and the Racing Coaster. The park’s carousel was rescued and is still offering rides at the Cleveland History Center.
Thanks to the Cleveland Public Library’s Photograph Collection, we’re able to look back at what the amusement park looked like, including a photo taken over 100 years ago. Check out the video above, or by clicking here.
