A motorcycle apparently hit that car and we are going to pan over and show you the distance. It went over the car. It crashed into a group of pedestrians waiting for the traffic light to cross. There is a family involved. Several people were injured including two children. One person has died as a result of this crash. We are going to show you some closeup videotapes to get an idea of how much damage was done here. This all unfolded late this afternoon as people were coming back on the mall. This mall is now across from the metro station so its a busy station. The bake was going west on east west highway when it struck that car making a left turn. There were several members of his family with him. The accident happened here on east west highway by the entrance to the mall of prince georges, which is behind me here. That car was right in the middle of the road trying to make a left hand turn. The motorcycle was going westbound, ran right into it, flew over the car. The young child who was killed was standing with family members at the curve, waiting to cross the street. This man saw the crash. Got on the motorcycle, was coming down, and the woman cut him off. He flipped. Watch him fly up in the air and he flipped. At the time, i didnt see there were other people on the ground. I saw the one guy.
