The Health Minister made the announcement on December 17, 2020, during a COVID-19 update to the territory where he assured that the Ministry of Health and its stakeholders will immediately begin the mammoth task of planning for the introduction of the vaccine in the Territory.

In a COVID-19 update to the territory on December 17, 2020, Hon Malone said all the active cases are in quarantine. “As of today, 17 th of December 2020, the Epidemiological Summary indicates that the BVI now has a total of 11 active cases,” Hon Malone stated.
