Fornelli was joined by community allies at the launch event and announced the theme for this year's Pride festival in Phoenix, named 'United Against Hate'.
The event will take place October 21-22 at Steele Indian School Park, located near Central Avenue and Indian School Road. This year's theme is "United Against Hate."
