We continue to follow the develops news out of new york city. An explosion vinjured more than two dozen people. Security footage from a nearby Fitness Center show the moment of the explosion. This happened on 23rd street near 7th avenue. That would be the chelsea neighborhood of manhattan. 29 people were injured, including one seriously, but everybody is expected to survive. Authorities say most of the injuries were scrapes and cuts from glass and other debris. Investigators say theyre not sure if the explosion came from inside a large trash bin or on the street. The mayor says it previously released emails suggesting lax enforcement by state regulators and poor maintenance by the utility led to a massive 2010 natural gas pipeline explosion and fire that destroyed dozens of homes and killed eight people. Very cozy too cozy relationship between the utility and the regulator. And we are finding out how deep it goes and how high up. It was ebola free, a second patient in isolation. Good afternoon, im frank mallicoat. Im Juliette Goodrich in for michelle griego. A patient admitted at Kaiser Medical Center in sacramento is being tested for ebola. Doctors say the patient is low risk for the virus but they are still handling the case with an abundance of caution. The patient is being cared for in a special unit. The hospital is waiting for test results. Ucdavis Medical Center announced another patient thought to have the deadly virus tested negative. The hospital says the patient is in good condition. Medical center is one of eight in the state outfitted for potential ebola patients. New at noon, 67 people are without a home after a massive Apartment Fire in San Franciscos Mission district earlier this week. That number is up from 54. The Hotel Vouchers the residents were given expire today so the Salvation Army is setting up a temporary shelter. The fire ravaged this building on the corner of 22nd and mission streets
