George Edward Kain was called home to be with his Lord on May 2, 2021. George was born June 8, 1936, in Old Gulf, Texas to George and Annie Shelby Kain. He was the youngest of four children. The three oldest were all girls. George attended grades one through six at Matagorda Elementary School. After sixth grade, students were bussed the twentysix miles to Bay City. He
