with me now to talk about the senate race in georgia and beyond, phillip bump, national reporter for the washington post . good to see you. hello. from that debate last night, did you see anything that might potentially, you know, change the race? there yeah. i mean, honestly, i don t think we have seen a lot over the course of the last month. it seems as though it s shaping up to change the race. we haven t seen much movement in polling. these revelations emerged last week, the reports of herschel walker don t seem to have done much to affect polling. people attending the walker, they said, look, he s never done this before. we don t expect him to do very well. and i think that probably helped him as well. yeah. i don t necessarily think what happened last night is going to change the trajectory. in your washington post column, you say most of the
incumbents from different parties. there is a democrat senator already and a republican governor. that s unusual. we do see that in arizona, for example. but the incumbent isn t running for re-election. that may be a place where come out out. i don t suspect there will be as many. but it s possible they come out and vote for the right-wing republican there and mark kel y. georgia is a unique set of circumstances. phillip bump, good to see you. thank you so much. thank you, ma am. the battle is shifting in one key democratic area. it could prove pivotal in more than a dozen house races, including three in south texas where historically democrats have dominated among latino voters. recently elections in polling indicate that latinos who make
