PASIG CITY, Dec. 16 (PIA) The 23rd Joint Committee Meeting (JCM) on Logistics and Defense Industry Cooperation between the Republic of the Philippines and Republic of Korea (RP-ROK) held recently via videoconference has strengthened bilateral relations in the areas of logistics and defense industries.
The JCMs are conducted pursuant to the 1994 RP-ROK Memorandum of Understanding on Logistics and Defense Industry Cooperation, and are intended to uphold bilateral defense logistics cooperation, as well as promote the mutual interests of the Philippines and South Korea and are considered one of the most active bilateral activities being conducted by the Department of National Defense (DND) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) with their foreign counterparts.
