PAGADIAN CITY, Feb 11 (PIA) - Zamboanga del Sur farmers received farm machineries from the national government that will help improve their work productivity.
The Department of Agriculture and the Philippine Center For Post Harvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech) have distributed the P98-Million-worth of machinery to 48 farmers cooperative associations from the 19 municipalities of the province.
At the Regional Agricultural Machinery’s distribution ceremony held at Megayon Hall, Barangay Dao this city on Monday, Governor Victor Yu was optimistic that through farm machineries, agriculture in the province can be maximized as it will improve the work productivity of the farmers and maintain food security.
