Philippa Cameron is the Station Cook at Otago s Otematata Station. Along with her husband Joe, she helps care for the 40,000 hectare high country property with its 500 head of cattle and 30,000 merino sheep. If looking after two small girls, various animals and two young girls isn t enough, Cameron also feeds the station s army of workers. It’s while fulfilling that latter role that she s picked up a vast collection of recipes, sharing a selection of them with other farm cooks on her popular Instagram page @whats for smoko. Cameron has now gathered together her favourites, tested on many approving musterers, to feature as part of her recently published book
