A woman drove unlicensed, in an unregistered and uninsured car, to collect cash from a cousin.
Oriel Alisha Malcolm, 28, had never held a driver’s licence when she was intercepted driving on Card St, Berserker, at 10.50pm on April 7 in a Holden Commodore which had no registration plates attached.
Malcolm pleaded guilty on April 22 in Rockhampton Magistrates Court to the traffic offences.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Darrell Dalton said the vehicle’s registration expired on November 1, 2020.
He said despite having a traffic history and never having held a licence, Malcolm did not have prior convictions for unlicensed driving.

A number of drink and drug-drivers were dealt with in Rockhampton Magistrates Court last week.
Wayne Leslie Walters had marijuana in his system when he was intercepted driving along Knight Street, Park Avenue, at 6pm on February 18.
Walters pleaded guilty to the charge in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on April 28.
He addressed Magistrate Jason Schubert and said he had a joint one night because he had back spasms and it helped him relax at night to sleep.
âI donât do it every night,â he said.
âI have seen a doctor since and am now on an opioid to help me sleep.

Questions have been raised surrounding a young woman’s relationship with a former Child Safety officer after the woman was charged for breaching a domestic violence order involving the 49-year-old man.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty on April 22 in Rockhampton Magistrates Court to three breaches of protection orders, two fail to provide identifying particulars and one fail to appear in court.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Darrell Dalton said police were called to a motel on Gladstone Road at 1.15pm on February 20.
He said the defendant was arguing with a third party over the phone when the man tried to leave the motel room, but the defendant locked him in the room.

An underground miner turned to illicit drugs after his best friend died by suicide.
The miner drove a car while on drugs, crashing through a fence and into a pole.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty on April 23 in Rockhampton Magistrates Court to breaching domestic violence orders, drug driving, wilful damage, stealing, drive without due care and attention, stealing fuel, attempted unlawful use of a motor vehicle, fail to appear in court and enter premises belonging to Rockhampton Regional Council and commit indictable offence by break and stealing.
Police prosecutor Senior Constable Sarah Rowe said all the matters before the court showed the defendant committed acts of a wide varying nature.
