Colors, mascot announced for future Odessa Shannon Middle School
When Col. E. Brooke Lee Middle School in Silver Spring is renamed in July, it will also have a new mascot and school colors.
In a video message, MCPS announced that the school, which will be renamed Odessa Shannon Middle School, will use wolves as its mascot. Its school colors will be blue and light green.
Blue was the top color families chose in a preference survey, and light green was Odessa Shannon’s favorite color, according to MCPS.
