Coroner s Court AN inquest has heard how a man found with a head injury on Christmas Day died in hospital in the early hours of the following morning. At Bolton Coroners Court, area coroner Professor Alan Walsh was told how 61-year-old Philip Anthony Cooper was found unresponsive at his Seaford Avenue, Harwood, home on December 25 by members of his family. The married procurement manager was taken to the Salford Royal Hospital but life was pronounced extinct at 12.25am on Boxing Day. Coroner s officer Benjamin Dobbs told the court how Mr Cooper s body was identified by his wife, Lynn, and a post mortem revealed he had died from a head injury. The inquest was adjourned until June 14.
