Hundreds of police, clergy, family and friends gathered May 6 to celebrate the life and work of Oblate Father Steven Wetzel, head of the Philadelphia-based Michael the Archangel Ministry, who died April 27.
Local law enforcement members flashed their emergency lights at an April 6 procession for Oblate Father Steven Wetzel, chaplain of the Michael the Archangel Ministry, who is currently experiencing health issues.
Named for the patron saint of law enforcement, the Michael the Archangel Ministry brings faith to the frontlines while helping the community, said Archbishop Nelson Pérez during a March 30 pastoral visit.
