The Free Library of Philadelphia (FLP) announced its plans to bring back Saturday service and provided an update on a change in the hours of operation for its neighborhood libraries beginning Monday, Oct. 16.
The Free Library of Philadelphia is extending hours at libraries throughout the city and is working to add staff in order to keep all branches open on.
The Free Library of Philadelphia will revise its hours beginning Monday, Oct. 16 and plans to open Saturdays at all of its branches in the near future. Saturday hours will resume once the Free Library hires new staff to fill those hours. Starting Oct. 16, the Parkway Central Library will operate Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
