Junior Enrique Sanchez
SALT LAKE CITY Junior Enrique Sanchez was in grade school when he and one of his classmates were sent to the school’s office not because they were in trouble, but because they didn’t have the right shoes to run track.
As a son of two immigrant parents from Mexico, track shoes weren’t in his family’s budget.
Sanchez was 2 years old when his family moved to Utah, after his father spent five years working on California farms, commuting back and forth across the border. He moved his family to Park City, where he found a job in the restaurant industry and built a life there to raise his kids in one of Utah’s more privileged cities.
Police officers directed traffic during the Sundance Film Festival at the intersection of Main Street and Heber Avenue in 2019, one of the typical law enforcement duties as the festival unfolds. The Park City Police Department is preparing for Sundance in 2021 even though there are not live events planned.

There will not be any movie stars needing assistance on Main Street this week during the Sundance Film Festival.
No demonstrators are expected. The traffic will likely not be much worse than it has been recently. And it seems unlikely the typical mayhem of the festival will return.

CFO Picked for Premier-Chrysaor Tie-up
Alexander Krane has been appointed as the CFO of the new company due to be formed from the merger of Premier Oil and Chrysaor, the North Sea producers reported on January 25.
Krane will replace Richard Rose, currently Premier s interim CEO and finance director, once the merger is completed or on April 15 if the transaction is closed before that date. Krane has worked in the industry for 20 years, previously heading finance at Norwegian firms Det Norske and Aker BP.
The new entity will be called Harbour Energy, taking the name of Chrysaor s largest shareholder. Its board will have 11 directors, with current Harbour boss serving as its CEO and Chrysaor CEO Phil Kirk working as its president. Premier shareholders earlier this month voted overwhelmingly in favour of the deal, due to close in this quarter.
