The value of used cars typically goes down year after year. But this year something different is happening. The value of all those automobiles driving around Virginia streets is actually going up.

The increase means Virginia Beach residents could pay more in taxes in the next fiscal year if the city council doesn't lower the tax rate, but there is still plenty of time for the council to take action to adjust the tax rate.
