The rugby landscape as a whole has shifted quite dramatically in this pandemic year. with just one change being the official end now of Fox Sports domination of rugby broadcasting in Australia.
As South Africans with our associated coverage on SuperSport (for both Super Rugby and Tests there) we got used for many years to the voices of Phil Kearns, Greg Clark, Rod Kafer and others behind the microphone.
But the two-and-half-decade Fox era is now done . and I seem to go against the grain of popular thought by confessing that, warts and all, I will miss dry-humoured former Wallaby hooker Kearnsey .
