The Collingsworth Family
This summer, The Collingsworth Family, a gospel music singing group from Ohio, will visit the Liberty University School of Music to film two live full-capacity concert DVD recordings on consecutive nights in the Center for Music and the Worship Arts Concert Hall. Both evenings’ concerts, set for Aug. 6 and 7, will feature School of Music students, alumni, and faculty who will make up the orchestra, conducted by award-winning Christian
music composer and arranger Bradley Knight.
“I am really excited to have The Collingsworth Family with us in August,” School of Music Dean Dr. Stephen Müller said. “Not only are they one of the leading groups in Southern Gospel music, but they are also great people. Phil and Kim (and family) have created a brand that is known in churches and in the music industry across the country.”
