The Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Board of Trustees met for their regular May session Tuesday at Olney Central College. During the meeting, approval was given for revisions in the substance abuse policy, changing the name of the policy to the Alcohol-free/Drug-Free campus policy. Also with the change in that policy, portions of another policy were absorbed into the alcohol and drug-free campus policy. The Board approved an easement to allow Ameren Illinois to proceed with installing primary power lines to the new recreation center at Lincoln Trail College. A resolution, making the official declaration of the IECC's intent to reimburse the district for expenses previously made through future bond proceeds for construction projects across the district was approved. The board authorized the district to produce a temporary structure to house the Lincoln Trail College Broadband Telecom Program.
