Town officials said the project is the second phase of a reconstruction project for Manning Road and will include significant upgrades to the town’s storm drainage infrastructure.

One major component is the enclosure and redirection of the East Townline Drain into the new Lakewood Park channel, an upgrade recommended in the town’s plan for stormwater drainage.
“We are very excited to be getting started on the next phase of the improvements to Manning Road,” said Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara in a statement. “This project is part of the broader plan for the area to improve transportation infrastructure, support flood mitigation and remove the drain along the west side of Manning Road.”
