The person once behind an honor society at a local community college has been arrested for embezzlement. Robin Lowe, the former advisor for Phi Theta Kappa at Itawamba Community College, is said to have stolen over $36,915 in public funds intended for the school’s chapter. Lowe oversaw Phi Theta Kappa.

 This is the first time BMC has received this distinction and is one of only 150 colleges and universities across the U.S. cited in the 2021 honor roll for developing âtransfer pathways that lead to excellence and success among community college transfer students.â
