UNI College of Business students in Iowa Phi Beta Lambda, a state organization dedicated to future business leaders, had a big showing at the state leadership conference in Coralville on April 1 and 2. Seven students, competing against schools around the state, either won or placed across 10 categories ranging from Accounting Principles to Future Business Education.
The Lincoln Trail College Phi Beta Lambda brought home eight state finishes at the recent State Conference in Effingham. Ezequiel Fernandez Carunchio took first place in the Marketing Concepts category. Nicholas Harness was second in Macroeconomics and Juan Solivellas Garcia was third in Macroeconomics. Mackenzi McIntosh finished fourth in both Organizational Behavior and Leadership and Personal Finance and Garcia was fourth in Microeconomics. Carson Musgrave earned sixth-place finishes in Computer Concepts and Personal Finance.
OPSU PBL Earns 9 Championships at State Conference Panhandle State Communications on 04/23/2021
Oklahoma Panhandle State Phi Beta Lamba (PBL) members participated in the State Leadership Conference on April 18th. OPSU PBL members accomplished great victories by each member qualifying for Nationals. For the first time in Aggie history, every member won a State Championship in at least one event!
University President, Dr. Tim Faltyn commented, We are so proud of all of the Oklahoma PBL students! We had nine State Championships, and seven students place in the top 5 in the State. We wish them well, as all seven are now qualified for the national contest! It is a great day to be an Aggie!
