NEW HAVEN Shirley Gatta has been waiting for the day when she could see her daughter Lauren walk across the stage for her diploma.
She is especially proud that her daughter, who majored in graphic arts design, is graduating from Yale University.
But given Gov. Ned Lamont’s lifting almost all COVID-19 restrictions on outdoor events, she is extremely disappointed that Yale will allow no guests at its commencement events.
