Hai Duong to build $84 million industrial park

An Phat High-Tech Industrial Park No. 1, with a total planned funding of VND1,947 billion ($84.2 million), was granted an investment registration certificate on Friday.
An Phat High-Tech Industrial Park No. 1, a member of An Phat Holdings (APH), will be the developer of the industrial park.

An Phat High-Tech Industrial Park No. 1 will cover 180 hectares of Quoc Tuan, An Binh and An Lam communes, Nam Sach District, northern Hai Duong Province. The project aims to invest in construction and commercial exploitation of the industrial park and attract high-tech and environmentally friendly investors.

Thailandâs Siam Cement Group PLC (SCG) last month made a big splash in the market by entering into a 70-per-cent share purchase agreement with Duy Tan Plastics JSC. The formerâs subsidiary SCG Packaging (SCGP) is to work with its Vietnamese partners under a 10-billion-baht ($332 million) investment to expand its packaging solution business in Vietnam, where demand for such products is growing.
An Phat Holdings donates $1.3 million to Hai Duong’s Covid-19 fight

An Phat Holdings in February donated a total of VND31.35 billion ($1.3 million) to Hai Duong’s Covid-19 fight. Helping people feel secure and the government control the pandemic early is the responsibility of every organization and individual, Pham Van Tuan, the company s acting deputy CEO, said.

Previously, on February 1 and 17, An Phat Holdings had donated VND11.35 billion ($482,000) in cash, equipment and other necessities to Hai Duong.

An Phat Holdings offers VND10 billion support to Hai Duongâs COVID-19 fight 19:23 | 17/02/2021
Today, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong province, the representative of the Board of Directors of An Phat Holdings directly handed over VND10 billion ($434,780) in cash to the representatives of Hai Duong province to support COVID-19 prevention efforts in the province.
Earlier, at the beginning of February 2021, when Hai Duong detected many COVID-19 cases, An Phat Holdings donated 100 televisions and 40 tonnes of essential goods worth VND1.35 billion ($58,700) to the Committee for COVID-19 Prevention in the province. With two times of support worth VND11.35 billion ($493,480), An Phat Holdings hopes to make a great contribution and join hands with the government and people of the province to fight against COVID-19.
