Im the support director and first, i would like to update you on the fire station at pier 22 and a half, the expansion project. This will be the ports first floating facility and were excited about this important lifesafety project. We have issued the first of two in a series of Building Permits and Construction Activity is set to start this month. The project should be completed april of 2021. The initial work will consist of demolition of the existing finger pier and fire boat shed behind the historic firehouse and were anticipating a groundbreaking

That is still closed but the good news here is that 270 had really been bottled up in the southbond direction right here at exit 15. Bottom line this is going to be potentially be an impact for a number of hours here. 270 all of the lanes have reopened so an improvement from earlier this morning. The lanes alo running but they are open. This ramp to germantown road is still closed and that may be the case for several more hours. This all stems from an Early Morning accident here. A Police Officer was doing a traffic stop here on 270, was pulling over a vehicle. This tractortrailer traveling through the area, the driver swerved and hit that police cruer and then pushed theis cru that was pushed into a Second Police cruiser and then the tractortrailer, itself, flipped on its side.
