As Qatar gears up to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced its operating hours during the fasting month. All emergency and inpatient services at HMC hospitals will operate the usual way, 24 hours a day and seven days a week. There will be some changes in timings for services delivered through the national COVID-19 helpline number: 16000. The COVID-19 helpline will follow Ramadan service hours round-the-clock, seven days a week. You can access the service by dialing 16000, choose the language you want, and select 1 for COVID-19. HMC’s OPD virtual clinics will operate in conjunction with HMC Urgent consultation clinics. During Ramadan, virtual appointments will be held between 9 am and 2 pm, Sunday to Thursday.
