With its efforts taken over the past years, Vietnam has gained many achievements in gender equality, making it recognised by the world as one of the 10 countries best implementing the United Nations’ goal No.5 on promoting gender equality and empowering all women and girls.
Ambassador Pham Hai Anh, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Vietnam to the United Nations (UN), has called for efforts to fully address the root causes of instability for long-term peace and stability in Central Africa while attending the UN Security Council’s periodical meeting on the region’s situation and operations of the UN Regional Office for Central Africa (UNOCA) on December 15.
Along with the Party and State diplomacy, people diplomacy has help create a synergy strength for Vietnamese diplomacy, contributing to the country’s achievements in 2021, said Director of the Russian-Vietnamese Cooperation Development Fund "Tradition and Friendship" Nguyen Quoc Hung.
