Crews responded to the scene of a multi-family house fire in the 3900 block of Peyton Way located in the Cromwell Park At Salem community around 2:34 p.m. According to a tweet from VBFD, all occupants were out of the home. 1 person was taken to a local hospital. Three residents are now displaced. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Updated: 4:21 PM EDT May 23, 2021 VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. The Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a fire in a residential area near Salem Road and Dam Neck Road Sunday afternoon. Firefighters said it got a call on Sunday, May 23 about a home that caught on fire in the 3900 Block of Peyton Way. Officials said all the individuals who were inside the residence at the time of the fire were able to evacuate the home. VBFD has not provided any further details about the incident at this time.
