Serio Takes on Additional Leadership Role as Associate Chancellor of Strategic Academic Engagement

January 21, 2021 Tricia R. Serio Tricia R. Serio, dean of the College of Natural Sciences (CNS), has been named associate chancellor of strategic academic planning by Chancellor Kumble Subbaswamy. Serio will dedicate 20 percent of her time to the new role while continuing to lead CNS in her position as dean. In this additional capacity, Serio will oversee the academic planning exercise of refreshing college-level strategic plans in collaboration with the Office of University Analytics and Institutional Research, as well as develop and facilitate strategic intercollege collaboration in research and education. She will also join other senior campus leaders on the Campus Leadership Council.
