Eight people are displaced, no injuries. I heard screaming so i came out our front balcony to see what was going on and looked out to the right and saw flames. Reporter hot spots still being put out at a warehouse the length of a city block. It wiped out a mans Family Business, vintage roof tile, owned it for 10 years. Devastating. I probably had about a million bucks in there. And i found out im pretty much its not insured. You cant really insure old tiles. Reporter daves business was hit the hardest. A strip of nearby homes was saved thanks to firefighters who raced over from a house fire that caused extensive damage. 2014. Good morning. Good to be with you. Im annemarie green. Weve learned this morning that the soldier accused of opening fire at ft. Hood, texas, last night, was being treated for mental illness. The soldier arrived at ft. Hood in february. He allegedly shot and killed three people and wounded 16 others before taking his own life. All the victims were members of the military. The shooting does not appear to be related to terrorism. Officials say he was confronted in the parking lot by military police. A basewide lockdown has been lifted and the base commander says his troops and their families will move forward. We know the soldiers and the civilians and the families of this fort who served so bravely in combat for the last 13 years in both iraq and afghanistan are strong, and we will get through this.
