Malaysia s Hibiscus Petroleum said the two co-venturers in the two significant production sharing contracts to be acquired from Repsol have waived their pre-emption rights.
The US$212.5 million cash Repsol transaction, assuming it is completed later this year, will double Hibiscus’ oil and condensate production to 18,500 barrels per day, and provide its first gas output of 49 million cubic feet per day of gas.

Malaysia s Yinson Holdings said its Vietnamese joint venture has signed a one-year FPSO contract extension to keep its floater PTSC Lam Son working offshore Vietnam.
Yinson is providing the FPSO in joint venture with PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation to the operator PetroVietnam Exploration & Production.
Yinson said its joint venture partner PTSC has entered into an addendum to the FPSO s bareboat charter contract to extend the tenure of the charter for 365 days from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022, in what it referred to as the first addendum”.
