where a manhunt by nato forces, muammar gadhafi keeps surfacing and taunting the world. earlier today nato bombed the barracks in baun knee wall lead where some reports say gadhafi may be hiding. if he is they didn t get him. a few hours later, gadhafi or presumably his voice turned up on a sympathetic tv network, al rae. translator: give up ourselves to them? we re not stupid. we are not cowards. the libyan people are brave. a few hours ago, the voice was back, this time gadhafi called on his followers to start an insurgency like the one that nearly destroyed iraq after the fall of saddam hussein. translator: we will fight against you, wherever you are. we will sacrifice our lives so that the son of libya will become and the stones of libya will become fire and fight against you. you will never have peace of mind inside our land. cnn s senior international correspondent nic robertson is with us tonight in tripoli. nick, is anybody listening to these tapes? reporter

plane headed into this thing. they are calling it a tropical disturbance for now just to see if it s serious enough to name it a tropical storm possibly in the next couple of hours. keep in mind we re also learning major oil companies are not taking any chances with this disturbance. evacuations have begun just in case and the mayor of new orleans, mitch landrieu, he ll be holding a news conference as they are all watching this disturbance as well heading precariously closely to their government line. we ll keep an eye on all of it and let s move on to some other news. moammar gadhafi, a la saddam hussein, is threatening to plunge his country into a drawn out civil war, but did you know it is 42 years to the day since a much younger gadhafi seized control of libya in a military coup. now presumably on the run but apparently still alive, gadhafi is extorting supporters exhorting excuse me, exhorting supporters to fight to the death. here s his message. this was aired today

grounded as volcanic ash clouds a continent. and nato keeps up the pressure on moammar gadhafi. tripoli comes in for more bombing. we begin in london where the u.s. president is kicking off day two of his state visit to britain. right now barack obama is at 10 downing street for talks with british prime minister david cameron. they ve got lot on their plates, the talks mark a shift in tone for the president. tuesday was mostly about pageantry, meeting the royal family and getting the vip treatment over at buckingham palace. today it is all about politics. and washington s close ties with the uk, that s really going to be at the heart of mr. obama s address to parliament today. he s expected to say american relations with the uk and nato are essential to global security. to number 10 downing street and to our white house correspondent, brianna keeler. what is president obama s message going to be to david cameron? we re just a short distance away from 10 downing street
