Amid a sudden surge in speculation that his minority Liberal government is gearing up for a spring election,
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is reportedly set to make some small but still potentially significant changes to his front bench roster, with the new lineup expected to be unveiled ahead of a pre-planned cabinet retreat later today.
As per the latest dispatch from the Star’s Susan Delacourt, “details of the job changes were unconfirmed late Monday evening,” with “government sources (saying) the shuffle is a small one, prompted by one cabinet member’s decision to step down.”
