Though the city’s Covid rate continues to rise, areas in and around Peterborough have begun to see their numbers of infections drop.
Peterborough is the only area in Cambridgeshire where infection rates are still rising, with other parts of the county seeing decreases of around 30 per cent.

Since the England-wide lockdown ended on December 2, different parts of the country have been living under tougher tier restrictions.
