May 19, 2021 Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware will screen the documentary “For They Know Not What They Do” June 2 and host a screening and discussion June 4. FILE PHOTO The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware  will screen the documentary “For They Know Not What They Do” via Zoom at 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 2, and in person at 6:30 p.m., Friday, June 4, at UUSD, 30486 Lewes Georgetown Highway, Lewes. State Sen. Sarah McBride will join a post-film discussion at 8 p.m., June 4, in person and on Zoom. The movie, whose title is based on a biblical expression, is a compelling, award-winning documentary that shows the uneven path to equality for LGBTQ persons. It follows four families who are navigating issues of faith regarding sexual orientation and gender identity of their children. The screening is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
