Petzler pleaded guilty to the charge in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on April 8. Police prosecutor Senior Constable Peter Rumford said Petzler told police he had recently used drugs, however, not on that day. Anthony John Meyer pleaded guilty to two counts of driving under the influence and one count of driving without a licence at Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Wednesday. Police prosecutor Senior Constable Peter Rumford said that on January 1, police intercepted Meyer on Alexander Court in Gracemere, and a breath test at the police station returned a BAC of 0.244. Meyer’s licence was suspended for that offence, but Duaringa police intercepted him again on January 13 and he recorded a BAC of 0.306.

Russell David Hardy, 38, pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Wednesday to two counts of possessing dangerous drugs. Police prosecutor Senior Constable Peter Rumford said police executed a search warrant at a Rockhampton address on October 7 last year and found 2.3g of cannabis and 1.568g of methamphetamine. He said Hardy told police “he didn’t know they were there”. The court heard Hardy had five children and was employed in mining and construction.
