A COUPLE from Penrith enjoyed a heart-warming celebration of their love for each other. Married on the third anniversary of their first online date, for this young couple marriage was always on the table. The bride Kirsty Nicholson works in the patient support team at a GP’s surgery, and Dom Davis is an accountant originally from Broughton. They married in June at the Cockermouth Town Hall. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions they had decided on a small wedding venue which their immediate families, parents, siblings, nieces and grandparents attended. They plan on a holding a vow renewal/blessing ceremony in a couple of years’ time with the wedding they had originally planned pre-Covid to go ahead with all their nearest and dearest able to attend.
