This accident killed a Good Samaritan. This is near woodside road and farm hill boulevard. The chp said the driver of a honda rear understanded a vehicle. A Good Samaritan then stopped and got out of his car to help. Then another vehicle came by and hit him. It is the Good Samaritan that stopped to assist the parties in the original crash. Then that party was struck by another vehicle as he was, after that on the freeway. A woman wit
A dramatic end to a cat and mouse boat chase at sea. Only on abc7 news tonight video of the coast guard taking a sailboat captain off a boat and back on to land after they arrested him. Good evening. Im ama dates of the abc7 News Reporter john alston has been following the story, and he joins us live from the coast guard station in sausalito. John . Moments ago the coast guard identified the suspect as John Mccormick, no age or hometown given. They are trying to piece together what prompted this chase today. That 30foot sailboat is docked at the coast guard station in sausalito. It is unknown who owns the boat or whether it was stolen. There are no identifying markings on it. Only on abc7 news, the end of the line for the man suspected of leading the coast guard on a threehour chase from sausalito to the pacific ocean. He was marched off the sailboat at the coast guard station in sausalito around 9 00. 5 team launched from a coast guard cuter ended the standoff. First we came alongside

We have breaking news out of San Francisco this morning where police are investigating an overnight home invasion. It happened at a home in the bay view. Police say would men and a woman all dressed in black forced their way into the home around mid might. Neighbors heard a struggle and called police. One of the suspects jumped out of the window to get away but broke his leg. Police say they found a handgun on him. Two other suspects got away. Victim suffered stab wounds but is expected

He says as he was walking across the freeway lanes, he was hit by another suv. Reporter the driver of that honda involved in the initial accident which prompted the Good Samaritan to pull over to help has been identified 25z 5yearold Charles Miranda of valet home he has been booked into the San Mateo County jail for dui. The identity of the 33yearold Good Samaritan from redwood city who was killed has not yet been released. There was a passenger in the car with him. That woman was taken to the hospital for emotional trauma. Two others, women
