Man arrested in Eau Claire for ‘Capitol violence’ charged, not allowed back in DC

(WQOW) – A man arrested in Eau Claire for his alleged involvement in violence at the U.S. Capitol was in front of a federal judge on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the United States Department of Justice, Kevin Daniel Loftus was arrested in Eau Claire on Tuesday.
He made his first appearance in front of U.S. Magistrate Judge Stephen L. Crocker on Tuesday where a number of release conditions were set.
Prosecutors said keeping him out of Washington next week for Joe Biden s inauguration is a concern.
