Belarus ambassador lays flowers at monuments to eminent Slavic figures in Moldova

MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – The Days of Slavic Writing and Culture are running in Moldova on 24-31 May. This is one of oldest traditional cultural events of Slavic nations that facilitates the development of the intercultural dialogue and strengthens friendly ties between various ethnicities that live in Moldova, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Moldova.
Representatives of the Belarusian Embassy in Moldova took part in the ceremony to lay flowers at monuments to prominent figures of Slavic writing and culture – Stephen the Great, Francysk Skaryna, Alexander Pushkin, Peter Mogila, Taras Shevchenko, and Hristo Botev.
