Authorities in Atlantic City say a police officer was injured Sunday night when he was struck by a pickup truck as he was directing traffic around an accident.
Atlantic City Police Officer Joseph Kelly Jr. was hit by a pickup driver from Manahawkin as he was conducting traffic control at the scene of an accident along Route 30.

The Big 12 has four top-25 teams in the D1 Softball preseason rankings released Tuesday, including second-ranked OU and 10th-ranked OSU.
