And im really worried that if San Francisco does not catch up on all of the Housing Demand created by all the jobs that have been created in your city, its going to deeply impact my neighbors and push folks out here. You cant find a twobedroom apartment for less than 3,000 a month. Every year that goes by the area Median Income for San Mateo County goes up and up as more of our residents are displaced. It is directly a result of not building enough marketrate housing in San Francisco where the jobs are. 75,000 san mateo residents commute to your city every day in normal times. Im sure that similarly large numbers commute from the east bay as well. It is crucial that you make space to allow these folks to be able to live in your city.
