Research by the bank of england has found that during the christmas period, a typical uk household spends around £800 on top of its usual spending. So thats around 1050. That figure also happens to be about the same amount spent per person in the us according to the National Retail federation. Taken together, americans are expected to spend around 730 billion over the Holiday Season this year, which is an increase on previous years.
